Its workers are scientifically and technically well trained and have opportunities to pursue a career in the profession in which they work. The only requirement to become a firefighter in Victoria (FRV) is to successfully pass an aptitude test that measures the applicant’s skills. These tests are somewhat lengthy and convoluted, which is why we offer an online course to help you prepare. Read on to find out what we offer you to practice.
What do the FRV aptitude tests consist of?
The process involves a series of tests starting with a Pearson VUE written screening test (WST) which consists of timed aptitude tests. The tests revolve around abstract reasoning, verbal reasoning, numerical sequences and mechanical reasoning. The purpose of these tests is to assess the cognitive abilities of applicants and thus determine whether or not they are capable of successfully performing the duties of a firefighter.
